The Craigmore Centre at Gartmore House is about 3 miles from the picturesque village of Aberfoyle in the heart of the Trossachs National Park. The Centre is set in 75 acres of private land and is about 1 mile off the main A81 Glasgow to Aberfoyle road. The village of Gartmore is less than half a mile. The location is both peaceful and safe and provides groups with the freedom to pursue various outdoor activities well away from traffic.

There are many indoor and outdoor activities located within a few miles of the Centre. This includes The David Marshall Lodge, Go Ape, Go Country, Blair Drummond Safari Park and the McLaren Sports Centre in Callander which is about 12 miles away. Stirling has many places of interest – both indoor and outdoor and is about 35 minutes away. Glasgow and Edinburgh can be reached within the hour.


By Road:

From Glasgow.
Take the A81 from the City centre and travel via Milngavie and Strathblane towards Aberfoyle. Continue past the signs for Gartmore village and the sign for Gartmore House is indicated on the left.

From Stirling.
From junction 10 on the M9, take the A84 towards Callander. After the Safari Park, take the A873 to Aberfoyle. About 3 miles before reaching Aberfoyle, at the roundabout at the Rob Roy take the first exit on to the A81 towards Glasgow. Pass the signs for Gartmore village and follow the sign for Gartmore House which is a turning off to the right.

From the North or East.
Travel on the M9 to junction 10 and follow the same directions as coming from Stirling.

By Rail:
Stirling is the nearest mainline train station for intercity and sleeper service.

By Air:
Airports at Glasgow and Edinburgh connect to most U.K. airports. Driving time from Glasgow is 50 minutes and Edinburgh is 1 hour.
